Help us find speakers and authors!
We are actively searching for speakers and topics that will be of broad interest to those studying business and policy in the metaverse. If you have a suggestion, post a comment below (or, if you are shy, send an email to Robert Bloomfield, rjb9@cornell.edu). Feel free to propose:
- --Executives in large corporations using virtual worlds to achieve their business goals
- --Academics doing research in any area of metanomics, including (but not limited to)law, business, economics, social sciences, communications and technology
- --Game/world developers
- --Regulators and politicians focusing on regulating the metaverse
- --Authors who have written on the metaverse
- --Public figures who might be willing to speak on related topics
Self-nominations, and nominations of people you know personally (and can persuade to join us) are particularly welcome.

The K12 Education Perspective
I'm a consultant and recovering textbook publisher in the K12 Education market. I've been working in the area of virtual worlds and learning for the past 3 years. I work with several education publishers in the area of virtual worlds and how they can be used in the classroom - so my interest is more in the experientialist arena.
